Mado Style Pte. Ltd. UEN202612860N ("Mado", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. 

1. Data We Collect 

We collect the following personal data when you use the Mado Platform: 

• Account data: name, email address, phone number, and password 

• Profile & style data: body measurements, style preferences, travel plans, and AI curation interaction history 

• Booking & transaction data: Order history, rental records, delivery addresses, and payment information 

• Usage data: browser type, device information, pages visited, and session activity 

• User-generated content: social media posts or images you share or tag in connection with Mado 

2. How We Use Your Data 

We collect and use your data only for the following purposes, consistent with the PDPA's purpose limitation obligation: 

• To process and fulfil your Orders, including coordinating delivery and returns 

• To operate and personalise our AI-assisted Stylist Curation service based on your preferences and rental history 

• To manage your account and communicate with you about your bookings and our service 

• To improve our Platform, garment inventory, and curation algorithms 

• To comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes 

We will not use your data for any purpose beyond the above without seeking your consent first. 

3. Who We Share Your Data With 

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary: 

• Fulfilment partner: our Japan-based 3PL partner receives your delivery address and order details to process shipments 

• Payment processor: your payment details are handled by our third-party payment provider under their own security standards 

• Service providers: technology and analytics partners who assist in operating the Platform, bound by confidentiality obligations 

Where data is transferred outside Singapore — including to our operations in Japan — we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable standard of protection, consistent with Section 26 of the PDPA. 

4. Data Retention 

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide our services. Rental records and transaction data are retained for a minimum of 5 years for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to our legal retention obligations. 

5. Your Rights Under the PDPA 

As a user, you have the following rights under the PDPA: 

• Withdrawal of consent for any use of your data at any time, with the understanding that this may affect your ability to use certain features of the Platform 

• In the event of a notifiable data breach affecting your data, we will inform you and the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) in accordance with the PDPA

6. Security 

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. However, no system is entirely secure. If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account, please notify us immediately at support@mado.style. 

7. Cookies & Tracking 

Mado uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain session state, remember your preferences, and analyse Platform usage. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Platform. 

8. Changes to This Policy 

Mado may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
